Amar Ajnalkar: How did you come up with the name for your Instagram account?

Shwetank Deshmukh: Well, the username alwayzzhungryyy does correlate to me a lot. I do feel like eating something or the other in intervals of time. When I started my food blogging, I made up my mind that this handle should be perfect for me.

Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best thing about being an influencer?

Shwetank Deshmukh: The primary advantage of being an influencer is getting their place and name in the market. Acknowledgement is one of the essential things which an influencer needs. Different benefits of being influencers are that they bring in cash with their range to the individuals. Reliability is something that matters the most. People follow your work, and they are passionate about it. Influencers are not made in a day or two. It gets years. You learn every day in whichever field you are!

Besides these, you get to enjoy free perks, sometimes be it a food blogger in my case. I get that privilege but what matters to me is people love the work I do. If someone appreciates your work, then it is the biggest thing you get as an influencer.

Amar Ajnalkar: How many hours a day do you work, and hows your daily schedule?

Shwetank Deshmukh: In the Digital marketing field, I have to work 12 hours a day minimum. How my day goes is a big question for me. Apart from work, I have my own website to manage. I also do some freelancing. It’s fantastic when you are focused on some things and keep yourself busy in whatever work you do, and I enjoy my job a lot and get to learn some of the other new something.

Amar Ajnalkar: Is the influencer profession affected your family life? If yes, then how?

Shwetank Deshmukh: Well, not really because I have some amount of time to give to my family because they will prioritize anything. Also, my family has been a lot of support for me. Some of my friends, who are very close to me, have supported me in every way possible! I aim to become a popular blogger someday in the future and have helped me in some way to achieve my goal, which I am very grateful for.

Amar Ajnalkar: What motivates you in life?

Shwetank Deshmukh: The one word for this question is “Passion.” If you are passionate about anything you love it, then there’s nothing stopping it. I just love the work you do, and that’s what motivates me a lot. In Food blogging, I have learned a lot of things. New people, new experiences, everything just goes with the flow for me.

Amar Ajnalkar: What are your favourite books or movies related to your niche?

Shwetank Deshmukh: Not into much of books, but yes, when it comes to movies and asking me which movie is related to my niche, the answer would be “The lunchbox,” one of the greats Bollywood has produced. And also one of Hollywood’s favourite “The chef.” Both movies are one of my favourites.

Amar Ajnalkar: What surprising lessons have you learned while influencing?

Shwetank Deshmukh: Well, a fascinating question! So far in this journey, I have three essential things that I have lessons learned, which are

  1. “No one understood what exact work I do as a food blogger.” In India, the concept of food blogging is still very new to many of the people. They think that you get free food, but all the science behind it is very different for people to understand. It takes a lot of improvement, hard work, determination.
  2. A lot of work goes into a single blog or post. Whatever you do, it all gets expressed in your available post. Content is the king, no matter what.

  3. Thing’s change, and that’s perfectly fine for me. My habit of Food, taste, everything got changed. Even also trying out some recipe, sometimes it fails. But it’s ok you learn, you overcome, and you succeed.

Amar Ajnalkar: Top 3 skills required to become a successful influencer.

Shwetank Deshmukh: In my opinion, Confidence, Being persuasive, and communicator should be top 3 skills one might need to become a successful influencer.
