Interview with Archana Bagh: Archana Bagh is a Food Blogger from Delhi. Archana creates awesome content related to food blogging on her Instagram handle. We had a great discussion while an Interview with Archana Bagh.

Amar Ajnalkar: Tell our readers about yourself?

Archana Bagh: I born and brought up in Delhi. I had done my schooling from ‘Delhi convent school’. And my further education from ‘Delhi university’. But my roots always sticks to ‘Kolkata’, because my parents are from there and I belong to a bong family. And hence Kolkata plays an important role in my life. But I live in Delhi with my family.

Amar Ajnalkar: How did you come up with the name for your Instagram account?

Archana Bagh: I m a person who loves her lunch/ dinner plate to be well presented, no matter what m eating. This starts randomly when I have zero knowledge of blogging. That time I used to do plating, clicking pictures and post it in my personal profile. I used to follow some food pages, with great concept and photography, which inspire me a lot. From there I thought to create my own page and let the world show the different cuisine and what is basic food looks like in a bong family.

I started this page on “8th Feb 2016”, but that time I was not so active. And after doing lots of research on food, photography, styling, I finally thought to take this forward as a profession. So I named my food page “Foodieebybirth”, bcoz I love to cook food (It’s kind of therapy for me), explore different places, different culture, different cuisines and m very fond of eating (actually m a person who is always busy thinking about food, even after eating food too), so what’s better than naming “Foodieebybirth”. So I started creating content on daily basis, on what m eating in-home and in when m out. To be very honest I was very bad in clicking pictures in my early days, but gradually, I learn the art of clicking, food styling and of course editing. And I always love to be different, so I thought to go with my home-cooked meals (which is very basic and people can relate it and that’s what’s makes me different from others).

So I started styling my plates. And on one day randomly, I shoot a home cooking video for a change & which was a boom and my audience loves that. So I always try new things, whether in terms of plating or videography, which my audience never fails to appreciate me. And after 4 years of hard work, here I m running this page successfully.
