Amar Ajnalkar: Tell our readers about yourself?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Hey, I am Sadhique Aboobacker from Kerala, India. pursuing Robotics in engineering graduate. In my family, I have Father, Mother, Sister and a brother. I live with my family in Changaramkulam which is a small town in Ponnani taluk of Malappuram district in the Indian state of Kerala.
Amar Ajnalkar: How did you come up with the name for your blogging site?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Sadhique is my name and Aboobacker is my father’s name, I choose my full name everywhere like, Sadhique Aboobacker, the reason of being come up with the name like, my philosophy is “ my name is my label “ am trying to make a mark in this world with my full name.
Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best thing about being a blogger?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Well, being a blogger is a creative job. We should understand the future days, like what will come tomorrow. For example, am a lifestyle/fashion blogger so am always follow future style, studying future fashion. So we can always live a step up in society. And of course, being a blogger is, free stuffs, making money & doing favorites job.
Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best collaboration experience that you have done with a brand?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Such a hard question, because I have to do more than 500 brand collaboration now ( including national & international brands ) my starting was DW ( Daniel Wellingtons ) I’ll explain a little, A couple of years back, one fine morning I just checked my email and found an email subjected as ‘Collaboration’. I thought what does it even mean there. I replied to them and they replied saying we are sending a watch and you just need to do some Instagram posts tagging us. That was my starting and I believe Daniel Wellington is my luck. Now I have to do many times partnering with Daniel Wellington. And another one is for Japan tourism. (Government of Japan). It was such an amazing experience.
Amar Ajnalkar: How many hours a day do you work and hows your daily schedule?
Sadhique Aboobacker: I work like doing a job. I have a strict schedule. Daily morning wake up early and workout. Then I will select outfits which brands send to me. And then shoot. At a time 1/2 shoot only.After shoot editing process. And the images will share with the brand for approval. Normally I work a day like 5-6hours on weekdays. ( shoot and editing )
Amar Ajnalkar: Is the blogging profession affected your family life? if yes then how?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Actually no, because I am doing a job and am earning money.
Amar Ajnalkar: What motivates you in life?
Sadhique Aboobacker: My values, Priorities, Challenges, Purpose, Goals, Drive, Learning, Love, and Hope.
Amar Ajnalkar: What are your favorite books or movies related to your niche?
Sadhique Aboobacker: I love biography books and real story-based action drama films. Some of my favorite books are. I Am Malala, Anne Frank, Adu jeevitham (Malayalam ) and etcAnd films are, Sairat ( Marathi ), Life of josutty (Malayalam ), Village Rockstars ( Assamese ), The Stoning of Soraya M. (Persian) and many more there in different languages too.
Amar Ajnalkar: What surprising lessons have you learned while blogging?
Sadhique Aboobacker: Perfect question, Followers and likes count doesn’t matter in blogging. Do a better job with your content. And build a strong community. Brands will start following you.
Amar Ajnalkar: Top 3 skills required to become a successful blogger.
Sadhique Aboobacker: Strong skills make you stand stronger in the competitive world, and this also applies to bloggers too. Every job requires some sort of skill to complete it successfully at the desired time. Like all other jobs, blogging also requires some skills. The fact is that if you want to become a full-time professional blogger, you’re going to learn a lot of various things. Few peoples determine that, it’s so challenging to be a successful blogger & it is the reason why they later get failed to make money from blogging. It’s because they are unaware of the skills that blogging does truly require. They just keep blogging, keep blogging & quit. Here top 3 skills in my view 1: Patience.2: Photo & Video editing.3: Marketing.
