Interview with Dipti Shinde: Dipti Shinde is a food blogger from Mumbai. Dipti also posts content on fashion and lifestyle. We had a great time while discussion while Interview with Dipti Shinde.
Amar Ajnalkar: Tell our readers about yourself?
Dipti Shinde: Hi guys..! Myself Dipti Shinde. I’m basically a food blogger. But I sometimes also like to create content related to fashion, lifestyle, etc. I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. I really believe if you have the potential to do something you can and you will. As it’s rightly said where there’s a will there’s a way. I’m pursuing CA currently. I am quite ambitious. I want to give my best in both these fields.
Amar Ajnalkar: How did you come up with the name for your Instagram account?
Dipti Shinde: Well it isn’t something I had to think a lot about. Initially, it was something different and then I decided to keep it simple… I really love food and you can say I’m crazy about it so this is how I came up with it @crazyy_foodiee_
Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best thing about being an influencer?
Dipti Shinde: I would like to say it’s my followers. I must say I have amazing followers. They support me a lot. They even try out my recipes and show immense love. What else do I want I’ve met some amazing creator through this page. Creating content and influencing people is one of the biggest things. I’m so glad that people support me this much.
Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best collaboration experience that you have done with a brand?
Dipti Shinde: I’ve done quite a few collaboration. I would like to say it’s Lay’s India. They came up with an initiative of #heartwork with Smile Foundation India. I was so glad to be part of it. I really believe that everyone should help others in whatever way possible. So this one is my favourite. Pleased to be part of such an incredible initiative.
Amar Ajnalkar: How many hours a day do you work and hows your daily schedule?
Dipti Shinde: Its really very tough to maintain a balance between blogging and pursuing CA.I’ve regular classes, articleship and this blog. But my followers keep on motivating me to give my best.
Amar Ajnalkar: Is the influencer profession affected your family life? If yes then how?
Dipti Shinde: No, not at all. My family supports my passion. May it be pursuing CA or blogging. They always motivate me.
Amar Ajnalkar: What motivates you in life?
Dipti Shinde: I think it’s me myself. I believe that you are your own motivation. You have to believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself how will others? I’ve gone through a lot when I was a small kid. I’m suffering from osteoporosis. It’s a disease in which the bone density is negative. I’ve gone through 8-9 operating. I still don’t give up. My family is been there always. They have supported me throughout. So I would like to say the biggest motivation is to believe in yourself.
Amar Ajnalkar: What are your favourite books or movies related to your niche?
Dipti Shinde: I don’t read a lot nor I’m a movie lover. But I really like few movies like Neerja, Mary Com, Dangal. I like movies based on real life. This motivates me. All this shows that you can achieve anything with hard work and determination.
Amar Ajnalkar: What surprising lessons have you learnt while influencing?
Dipti Shinde: Many of the time you are judged by the number of followers you have. But I completely disagree with this thing. I believe all that should matter is content. Many of the times you get collaboration opportunity only if you have a specific number of followers. But there are other people who believe in content and not the number of followers. Never the less If your content is good you’ll grow.
Amar Ajnalkar: Top 3 skills required to become a successful influencer
Dipti Shinde: Its Passion, Dedication and Consistency. You’ve to love what you do and try to give it your best shot. It’s not a one day or one month work. You have to be consistent with your work. You’ve to push yourself to give your best.
