Interview with Aayushi Shah

Interview with Aayushi Shah: Aayushi Shah is a food and travel influencer from Nashik, Maharashtra. She completed engineering in computer science. We had a great discussion and interview with Aayushi Shah.

Amar Ajnalkar: Tell our readers about yourself?

Aayushi Shah: My name is Aayushi Shah. I have done my graduation in Computer Engineering from Pune University. Also I am a food and travel influencer and my Instagram handle is – @the_lost_cheff. I have always been foodie so I kind of use to explore much and try different dishes every time and post it on my private social media account. Every time my friends use to call me up asking me about the food I tried so I thought why not make a page and share all the details about whatever I had and overall experience. Slowly I started getting appreciation for the efforts I use to take and that thing kept me going. I loved traveling and explore new places, do research so I started with travel and guess what? my first ever collaboration was with Hostels in Goa. I don’t have a team I do everything my self.

Amar Ajnalkar: How did you come up with the name for your Instagram account?

Aayushi Shah: Well, there’s no specific reason behind it. It’s just that I find it unique.

Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best thing about being an influencer?

Aayushi Shah: It keeps me productive. The best part is People know me for my work and efforts. Being a food and travel influencer we get to eat different types of food and travel places which I always wanted.

Amar Ajnalkar: What is the best collaboration experience that you have done with a brand?

Aayushi Shah: I have worked with many brands like Lays (Smile Deke Dekho Campaign), Tglco, Postcard India, Makino, Sattviko, Nature Up, Turkish coffee, Spicebay, Xoxo hostels Goa, Hosteller Goa, Unclutch Goa. Well Collaboration with lays was the best thing that happened to me. Getting your face printed on lays Packet is a big thing. And my best stay Collaboration was with Xoxo hostels, Goa. As everything was just perfect say it stay, service, food.

Amar Ajnalkar: How many hours a day do you work and hows your daily schedule?

Aayushi Shah: It depends. Some days I have reviews planned for the entire day and some days there are none. But editing post, writing a caption, making story post, planning content. I spend around 2 hours.

Amar Ajnalkar: Is the influencer profession affected your family life? if yes then how?

Aayushi Shah: Not as such. As I stay at the hostel and life seems fun.

Amar Ajnalkar: What motivates you in life?

Aayushi Shah: The love and appreciation I get from my followers for my efforts and work and my parents always asked me to do things I loved and make me happy.

Amar Ajnalkar: What are your favorite books or movies related to your niche?

Aayushi Shah: I love reading motivational books but sometimes not much and also I am not a movie person. I hardly watch movies.

Amar Ajnalkar: What surprising lessons have you learned while influencing?

Aayushi Shah: There will be people in your field who will be jealous of you and will pull you down in every possible way but just remember why you started and for whom? And in this entire process be yourself and stand by yourself. I am an introvert. Meeting new people every day was a challenging task for me. I and one of my friend kept motivating me all the time and now I don’t find it a problem at all. So basically everything is within yourself. We, humans, are like clay we can mold ourselves the way we wish too. It’s just that you gotta make an effort and work for it.

Amar Ajnalkar: Top 3 skills required to become a successful influencer.

Aayushi Shah: Consistency, Communication, Confidence and also hard work.

Amar Ajnalkar: Hows your experience with Amar Ajnalkar?

Aayushi Shah: Well, thank you Amar for this opportunity and he is a great human.

Amar Ajnalkar: Two lines for our reader.

Aayushi Shah: Always believe in your self and work hard. Things take time but if you’re dedicated to work. Numbers don’t matter. What matters is your good work. All the best and be happy.
